Up until recently, the weather hasn't seemed too summer-y, but we've been trying to get out and enjoy the days when we can. Here are some of the activities we have been up to.
The boys experienced having their first garage sale, which to them was the equivalent of going to Disney World. Almost 4 whole days of Grandpa's undivided attention while Mommy and Grandma manned the sale. Zander got to talk to strangers and count money, what could be better??
Our family had a photo shoot with my friend Sarah Hudson. She is an amazing photographer.
Zander had Soccer and T-ball Camp. He was extremely excited. He received a certificate at the end and now thinks he knows everything there is to know about soccer and T-Ball .
We spent a day 'camping' at Interstate State Park for the Annual Radel Family Camping trip. The kids played games and bubbles, ate smores, and Zander went fishing for the very first time. Zander learned that fishing is a sport of a little doing and a lot of waiting. He is usually better at a lot of doing and just a little waiting. But after being side-tracked by rock throwing and a trip to the bathroom he caught his very first fish! (Look very closely).
Of course, it's not truly summer in Stillwater until you've had Nelson's ice cream.
And the most exciting news of the summer is that Zander passed the Early Entrance to Kindergarten Evaluation and will be starting kindergarten in the fall! He is so excited!
Yay for getting caught up on all the news! I love the fishing pictures, I want ice cream, and Woot woot for Zander!!!
