Birthday Bonanza!

September has been full of big things in the Harper Household.  We kicked things off with a photo shoot with the Fabulous Sarah Hudson.  She captured the essence of the boys beautifully.  I LOVE so many that there are too many to post, but here are just a few of my favorite shots. 

Then, Mr. Zander started Kindergarten!!!

He has a great teacher named Mrs. McNulty.  He has had some tough times adjusting to Kindergarten, but comes home each day saying he had the best day yet.

Then, two days into Kindergarten we celebrated Zander's 5th Birthday!  He chose to eat at the local Chinese buffet for his Birthday dinner.  There his meal consisted of chicken wings and mangoes.  He got his first bike for his birthday.  He is quite nervous about riding it, but did take a few trips up and down the sidewalk.

Zander had been talking about wanting a birthday party at Pump It Up for over a year.  (Pump It Up is a place that has large inflatable bounce houses, slides and obstacle courses for kids to play on.)  And boy was it a par-tay!  All the kids seemed to have a great time.  Even Grandpa and Mom got in on the action. Then we headed to the party room where Zander got to sit on a gigantic inflatable chair to open presents. 

As if that wasn't enough partying for one month, a week after Zander's birthday we got to celebrate Caleb's 2nd birthday!  Caleb got to go to an uber-awesome playdate while Zander was at school (shhhh, don't tell Zander).  Caleb picked breakfast for dinner (ok, well mommy picked it for him).  Then he got to open his presents and he got some awesome loot.  A tool set complete with safety goggles and drill, a truck and a tricycle just to name a few.  Apparently the trike needed some repairs made right away.

After all that partying, we are all just party pooped!
